FullSpeedRC jumped into the toothpick wave and released one recently. Is it good ? Let’s see that in the review.
The frame is 1.5mm carbon with a 120mm wheelbase. For me it is weak point of this quad. A frame of 1.5mm is too small to handle crash with 1103 motors on 3S with this wheelbase 🙁 But if you break the frame, there is now plenty of others toothpick frames to use !
The canopy is in TPU and cover correctly the camera to protect it (and to adjust correctly the angle). The shark fin helped a lot to use the turttle mode and to absorb the impact for some crashes. The canopy will not protect at all the FC/ESC/VTX, so it can be cool to see some improvent. But this canopy is available on thingiverse so it really a plus.
Flight controller / ESC
It was a major drawbacks and problems in their previous release (TinyLeader). FullSpeedRC updated their FC/ESC and control quality. It is really a good point and AFAIK I have not seen people complaining about this stack.
So it is the F412 stack that support 2-4S (be aware that in this version the motor can’t handle 4S), for 4.3g, and it is a MATEK411 target in Betaflight (a yaw degree of 270 is mandatory in betaflight due to how the stack is mounted). The ESC can handle 1-4S and can support up to 12A per esc (and 15A on burst).

The motors are FullSpeedRC 1103 8000kv. They switched from 10000kv to 8000kv in order to support 3S, to avoid high amp peak. I tested them a lot and as usual they are strong and durable. It is not the top 1103 quality but they are doing the job correctly.

- Weight: about 3.2g
- Shaft: φ1.5mm
- Motor Mount Holes: M1.6 on Dia 8.5mm
- KV (rpm/V): 8000
- Voltage: 2-3S Lipo battery
- Plug: Micro JST-1.25 3-pins con
The camera is as usual the Caddx Micro F2. it is a good camera except that sometimes it can be confused with the red color.
The VTX is the TX600 from FullSpeedRC. It support 25mW up to 600mW on all 48 channels (and raceband) and IRCtramp. To be honnest I have used their VTX since a long time and the ration price/quality is one of the best in the market today.
The only thing todo is to unlock it to support all channels with a long press on the vtx button at startup (long press than 20s) and unplug/plug the battery.
FullSpeed FSD TX600 25mW-600mW VTX FPV Transmitter
Output power: PIT/25mW/100mW/200mW/400mW/600mW switchable

(TX600’s factory set up is on lock mode(5733-5866MHZ unlock). Please follow your local laws and regulations
if you need to unlock the frequency.)
I tested and did a lot of toothpick recently, and this one is good if you are looking for a BNF for this summer. If you have 2/3S LIPO and want a tiny rocket it is one of the best actually. Moreover FullSpeedRC fixed their stack so you don’t need to be worry about that for this quad.
The default configuration in BetaFlight (4.0) is already done and all you have to do is to bind your radio (frsky/flysky/spektrum/crossfire) and to setup the checked the modes in BF.
I added few videos of my flight on 2/3S with it and as you could see, it performs well.
The design of the box is not super compared to others (like the ER349) but here what you will have in the box:
1 x Toothpick frame kit
1 x FSD412 2-4S 12A Flight tower
4 x 1103-8000KV brushless motor with connector
2 x 65mm 2-blade propeller(CW)
2 x 65mm 2-blade propeller(CCW)
1 x Caddx Micro F2
1 x FSD TX600 25mW-600mW VTX FPV Transmitter
Where to buy ?
- Fullspeed Toothpick from FullspeedRC with the code FSD12 to get 12% off everything on the site – brings the price to $111.
- Fullspeed Toothpick Pro from Banggood
Spare parts is important for such quads because you will have high probability to break something 😉 So here a list of banggood spare parts:
