After the Cinecan 4K and the Geelang UFO85X 4K, GEPRC did also a new cinewhoop on the same size.

The one from GEPRC did a new one in the same category: The GEPRC CineKing 4K. Is it a good choice for 4K recording in the tinywhoop category ?

The CineKing 4K is available on two versions: one with 1103 motors (2/3S) and another one with 1105 motors (3/4S).

Frame

The frame is a 95mm wheelbase in carbon. 1.5mm for the top plate and 2mm for the bottom plate.

The weight of this build is around 98g.

They use green duct for the prop guards. It seems made from a plastic, really strong, and it could be pretty hard to break them.

The frame is for a 16mm stack and designed for the caddx tarsier.

They added some tpu piece for the antennas of the receiver (btw you will have PNP/Futaba/FrSky/FlySky/TBS CRSF available) and moreover the antenna of the VTX is well maintened too in the frame.

The idea is to put the LIPO on the top plate by using also the provided foam grip to maintain the LIPO.

Propellers

They decided to use the EMAX Avan 2inch 4 blades (1.5mm shaft), which is probably the best option for this kind of configuration (85mm and duct). They performed well and are enough smooth for a cinewhoop.

Flight Controller/ESC

The stack used is the GEPRC STABLE F411, that could handle up to 4S, on 16x16mm.

It is a classic stack that could go up to 12A, maybe a AIO board would save some weight but for a cinewhoop it seems fine.

Motors

GEPRC used 1105 motors for this build to handle 4S LIPO, which seems a good choice.

They are nice, maybe 12XX will be a better choice, but with these props it is the best option right now.

Camera

Nothing fancy, the only good 4K camera for drone is the Caddx Tarsier. The main difference compared to the Cinecan is that the canopy is attached by two screws on a TPU piece, which will avoid jello.

Moreover you can easily adjust the angle of the camera to what the angle you wish.

VTX

The VTX is a classic one on the stack and can go up to 200mw. I have not got any bad results with it.

Box

A simple box that contains many spare elements, like propellers, lipo strap, tube for antenna and foam grip. So basically nothing to get to use it except a LIPO.

You can go up with a GNB 3S 520mah or GNB 3S 450mah. for 4S LIPO, you could go to the BetaFPV 4S 450mah.

Flight

The main behavior of a cinewhoop is to be stable and no jello. That’s the case here. As you could see in the video at the top of the article, it is really good.

For indoor or outdoor, you will get nice shot that you could use later. This cinewhoop is really in my top and one of the well most finish, specially for the frame.
