Review: GEPRC CineEYE – Best 75mm HD cinewhoop ?

The GEPRC CineEYE is a new drone from GEPRC mainly designed to record HD video. How is it ? Let’s do a tour !!

First of all, I have not spot any major drawbacks for a 75mm whoop, specially for HD recording with a baby caddx.

By choosing their own 12A FC board, no risk to burn anything on 3S LIPO.

Moreover the frame is pretty solid and you have a different set of colors (included) for the canopy with the cineeye, so feel free to change it !

The motors are 1102 8000kv from GEPRC directly. These motors will handle perfectly 2S or 3S without any problem.

The VTX is up to 200mw which is a good choice because you will probably need to go a little away for this usage, so you will not loose the video.

Moreover they are provided it PNP or with available receivers like frsky, flysky, dsmx, futaba, crossfire … so all people are covered 🙂

And by picking up the caddx baby turtle, you will have a simple way to record in HD (1080P) your flight.

So as I said, no surprise with this little cinewhoop in the configuration, moreover the flight time is really good with around 4 mins.

But how is the drone during a flight ?

It is how it render with DEFAULT configuration, just put the LIPO, bind and flight !

It is not a GOPRO recording with hypersmooth of course, but it is not too bad for zeor stabilisation.

It is probably due to the smooth 1102 motors, really a good choice for this setup !

For me it is a good choice if you are looking for a simple HD 75mm drone.
