The BestHawk is a 75mm whoop from NamelessRC with DVR recording embedded directly in the VTX. How is it ? Let’s do a tour !
- 75mm frame
- 2/3S lipo support
- 42g (PNP Without Battery)
- NameLessRC AIO412
- 1103 11000KV
- NamelessRC D400 25-400mW VTX + DVR AIO 720P Recording
- Caddx EOS2
This tinywhoop is really designed to be power up by 3S LIPO due to the global weight which seems due to the frame/duct. Most of others tinywhoop are using a simple plastic frame which save a lot of weight. In this case the frame is not flexible due to the carbon and the duct are pretty solid.
The canopy is huge for a tinywhoop which impact a little bit on the flight probably, but you could swap to a lighter one easily because the hole are standard.
1103 11000kv on 3S is pretty speed, and you need of course at least a 12A board, and the namelessrc board is pretty good for that job. I’m not a big fan of these 40mm HQProps but they are doing the job, but new one will be available soon.
The main drawback of this drone is really the camera, caddx eos 2 is pretty bad right now compared to other.
The VTX can go up to 400mw which is interesting if you want to extend the range of this tinywhoop, specially walls could be annoying. I have already reviewed this VTX, please check:
But how it is during a flight ? The default PID are good but you need to enable air mode, due to the weight when you will lower the throttle you will have a weird behavior.
This 75mm tinywhoop with embedded DVR is good, but be sure to have enought 3S LIPO ! Even if you could think the weight is a problem, it works pretty well as you could see in the video.
There is not so much whoop with this capability, so definitively a good choice !
